Во рамките на програмата на шестиот меѓународен филмски  фестивал за духовни  хумани вредности Богородицен покров, разговаравме со г-ѓа Марта Драгонич, еден од основачите на фестовалот на сакрална уметност во Унгарија, Арс Сакра. Благодарение на Висеград Фондот,  кој годинава го поддржа нашиот фестивал, фестивалот Арс Сакра е партнер на фестивалот Богордичен Покров.  За успесите и целите на фестивалот Арс Сакра еве што вели нејзиниот прв човек.

❈ Арс Сакра всушнот се состои од 2 фестивали, едниот посветен на сакралната уметност а другиот на филмската уметност. Според податоците од Вашиот сајт  во првата 2007 година фестивалот бил  посетен од 4000 посетители,   Во 2015 година сте имале 60.000 посетители на  580 настани во  142 града....❈

г-ѓа Марта Драгонич:

Следејќи го нашиот повик, сé повеќе и повеќе луѓе ни се придружија, да го организираат фестивалот. Меѓу другите, работиме заедно со организаторите на Европските денови на наследство, бидејќи најголем дел од европското културно наследство е сакрално. Европската култура изникнала од јудео-христијанската вера, корените на нејзината цивилизација се таму.

❈ Која е Вашата мисија и цел која Ве поттикна на вакви ангажамни и како ја доживувате сакралната уметност?❈

Веруваме дека овие сакрални ремек-дела ги допираат срцата на луѓето, и со нивна помош се приближуваат, или се враќаат назад кон Бога. Тоа во што ние веруваме е дека Создателот посеал семе на верба во сите нас. Ако го храниме и негуваме тоа во нас самите и меѓусебно, тоа ќе никне, порасне, пушти лисје, процвета и роди плод. Овие уметнички дела и перформанси се исто цвеќиња и плодови на вербата, чии звуци, бои, мириси и вкусови сакаме да ги споделиме, а и нивните семиња можат да се сеат пак и пак, да ни ги умножуваат и збогатуваат нашите духови!

❈ Овој фестивал се случува во месец Септември, кога за уметноста ги отворате  вратите во исто време на сите цркви, но, во исто време и во сите архитектонски зданија, замоци, катедрали, театри, концертни сали, музеи, унверзитети, на плоштади, знаци и во   сите световни зданија каде  уметноста влегува тој ден од сите и за сите !  Оргнизирате концерти, изложби на слики, склупутри, литературни читања, поезија, музички перформанси , театарски изведби, дискусии, програми за деца , филмски проекции, всушност, сите заедно , преку уметноста го славите животот и љубовта! Тоа бара неверојатен ангажман на подготвки и огромене труд! Што е тоа што Ве носи за да можете да го издржите овој напор, и кои  се коментарите и  чуствата на учесниците и на љубителите на фестивалот? Зосто им е важен и потребен еден ваков фестивал?❈

Светиот Дух ни дава сила, ни помага да поврземе луѓе и општества. Добиваме толку многу позитивен фидбек, и тоа исто ни дава сила. Фестивалот Арс Сакра покажува знаци на надеж во културата, го прави невидливото видливо, ги доведува на површина знаењето и симболите кои долго биле заборавени. Овие работи ни помагаат да се запознаеме себеси и нашето време подобро.

❈  Вашиот фестивал е во соработка   the European Heritage Days,  pod brendot  Europe for festivals,  festivals for Europe! Што подразбира оваа соработка, кој е се  вклушен во неа  и кој може да се вклучи?❈

Фестивалот Арс Сакра ги исполнува стандардите на квалитет вклучени во европската уметничка, културна и општествена реалност. Има кохерентна и добро организирана уметничка програма, обезбедува можности за нови уметници. Програмите на Арс Сакра негува локални поврзувања меѓу изведувачите и локалните заедници. Нашите програми помагаат да се зголеми пристапот до културата и привлекуваат различни публики, вклучувајќи различни социо-економски заднини, возрасни групи и полови. Арс Сакра е сé поатрактивен за публиката, преку бесплатни уметнички и едукациски програми, кои нудат вечни вредности.

❈ Арс сакра ја основа својата фондација година дена по првото издание на фестивалот, поточно во 2008-та  година, колкав буџет е потребен за реализација на еден ваков фестивал?❈

Фестивалот почна со многу волонтерска работа. Светиот Дух доведе многу луѓе кон оваа работа. Почнавме да го организираме фестивалот во мојата канцеларија за внатрешен дизајн, и така е од тоа време. Членови на бордови на доверители работат како волонтери преку цела година, користиме свои телефони и автомобили. Пишуваме многу грантови.

❈ Од 2016 година Филмскиот фестивал е исто така дел од програмата на Арс сакра фестивалот. Кои жанрови  на филмови ги преферирате и кои пораки ги носат  наградените филмови досега? Станува збор за национален фестивал кој ја негува сопствената продукција на овој план и сите филмови се на унгарски јазик!❈

Примаме филмови и од некои соседни земји, но бидејќи тие филмови се исто и на унгарски, тоа е унгарски филмски фестивал. На филмскиот фестивал Арс Сакра се прикажуваат само кратки документарни филмови, кои се занимаваат со важни прашања од животот, верата и надежта. Годинава 100 филмови влегоа за презентација, и од нив, 55 беа презентирани.

❈ Пред повеќе од една деценија ипол,  се заложив за еден  Апел за медиумски ден на мирот, И истиот беше со акламација поддржан. Идејата е да се прогласи  барем еден ден во годината за медиумски ден на мирот  од страна на ОУН, кога телевизиите и медиумите нема да приказуваат никакви филмови и програми со сцени на насилие,  убиства, порнографија, омраза  и други гревовни содржини, за да човекот го потсетиме  на природната негова состојба на мирот во неговата душа. Попат речено, уште тогас во Америка имаше 30 илјади убства дневно на телевизија…  Тоа сметам  дека би била  најголема антитерористичка  кампанја во нашите срца, бидејќи, мирот во нас носи мир со другиот, а мирот со сите носи мир во заедницата и светот.  На мирот треба сите да поработиме, но не со зборови и флоскули, туку со анулирање на се  што носи немир, а во што предводат  електронските медиуми..Дали би се придружиле  заедно да ја туркаме оваа иницијатива на меѓународно ниво и да ги повикаме сите кои сакаат да ја поддржат.❈ 

Тоа е многу убава иницијатива! Би сакала да го потпишам тој повик. Од друга страна, какви резултати би можел да постигне еден ден без реметечкото присуство на медиумите, какви резултати би можеле да се постигнат, но секако е доволно да се привлече внимание кон овој проблем. Јас сум оптимист. Св. Тереза од Лизу рекла: „Мој Боже, спаси ме од тоа искушение, да мислам дека во сé треба да има ред.”

❈ Пред да го заокружиме овој разговор морам да изразам благодарност и во оваа пригода  за моето учество како регионален претставник и панел дискутант  на Светскиот Христијански Форум во Будимпеста во 2019 година.На него присуствуваа стотици учесници меѓу кои и владици,  но тоа беше христијански собир на мирјани со  врвни научици, амбасадори, професори, хурурзи, новинари, режисери , со еден збор од сите професии  од  Близок и Далецен Исток  до Русија, од Африка, Америка и Европа . Импозантна бројка на врвни светски авторитети кои ги споделија своите искуства поврзани со духовноста,  верата и успехот во нивната професија. За жал, за такви настани медиумите или ретко или пак не  ги информираат граѓаните. А мислам дека во историјата одамна не сме виделе висок претставник на Влада, да говори со Крст во рацете на свеченото отворање на Форумот кој беше организиран од Владата на Унгарија.  Како Унгарка, како Вие  и Вашите сограѓани  го доживеавте овој настан?❈

Да, имаше  светски христијански форум  во Будимпешта. Беше во врска со моќта на медиумите, дека можеме да се сомневаме во нивниот свет, и колку е лесно да се изгубиме во него. Има закана во регионот. Како резултат на судбината на гонетите христијани, неколку случаи и процеси на хуманитарна помош се почнати. Унгарија е една од земјите која постојано го привлекува вниманието на Европската унија кон агресијата заштитена со закон против Коптите во Египет на 1. јануари 2011. И овде би сакала да ја цитирам преамбулата на унгарскиот Устав:
„Горди сме што нашиот крал, Св. Стефан, ја изгради унгарската држава на здрава почва и ја направи нашата земја дел од христијанската Европа пред илјада години... Ја препознаваме улогата на христијанството во сочувувањето на националноста. Ги цениме различните религиозни традиции во нашата земја”.
Годинава организиравме уметнички програми во некои градови во Европа, каде се лоцирани унгарски општества, во спомен на славниот унгарски поет и мислител Пилиншки Јанош. Тој во 1970. напиша дека во доба во која имаме сериозни сомнежи за комуникациите, уметноста, со својата објективност, е способна да комуницира и да ја пренесе христијанската порака за Убавината, Вистината и Господ.

❈ При крајот сме на Вашата приказна. И за крај,  како всушност целата приказна започна? Вие сте  архитект, завршивте 2 факултети, Архитектура и факултет за арт и дизајн. Успеавте да пораснете не само фестивали, туку и 3 деца и 8 внучиња.  Покрај многуте  световни,   имате проектирано  50 сакрални објекти.  Како го  запоцнавте  градскиот проект наречен  City mission in Budapest   кој  прерасна во манифестација од Европски рамки?❈

Не сакав да партиципирам во Градска мисија  Радоста во моето срце направи да создадам нешто прекрасно, во кое некој може да се придружи. Затоа, со мојата пријателка Илона Тороцкај, и Илдико Колек, ги посетивме директорите на големите унгарски музеи во Будимпешта, да ги прашаме да подготват мали изложби на нивното сакрално наследство. Преку нашите пријателски односи, организиравме музички програми во дополнение на изложбите, и коноечно, ѝ се придруживме на Градската мисија со 34 програми. Врз основа на многу позитивни фидбеци, следната година воспоставивме фондација и можевме да продолжиме со работата. Оттогаш многумина ни се придружија, и Арс Сакра израсна во прекуграничен фестивал.

❈ Што денес значи   Арс Сакра за Вас?  Започнавте со идеата дека сте повикани да го спасите светот. После сите овие години духовно усовршување   што денес мислите после 14 години Арс сакра?❈

Па, кога бев млада, мислев дека можам да го спасам светот со мојата работа. Во текот на годините, сфатив дека светот е веќе спасен, така што мојата задача е само да им кажам на луѓето за тоа. Работиме како волонтери веќе 15 години за Арс Сакра фестивалот и треба да го признаеме фактот дека добивме многу повеќе од Арс Сакра отколку што некогаш се надевавме.

 INTERVIEW WITH MRS.MARTA DRAGONITS, CHAIRMAN OF THE FESTIVAL ARS SACRA - HUNGARY
“WE GOT A LOT MORE FROM THE FESTIVAL , THAN WE EXPECTED”
Bogorodicen pokrov: Dear and respected Mrs. Marta Dragonits, thank you for being under the Holy Virgin Mary Omophorion , a festival that celebrates  spiritual, humane and cultural values, as well as your Ars Sacra festival. Many thanks to Visegrad Fund, which enabled us to hold the sixth edition of our  festival!  Ars Sacra actually consists of two festivals, one dedicated to sacred art and the other to film art. Ars Sacra is the ideal for every festival, which you have already achieved! I would like to say that I am really impressed and delighted especially about your results from 2007 th  until  today, and our viewers will be convinced of that. Therefore, I suggest we start a little unusual, not from the beginning, but from the end, from the results and the bombastic numbers. According to the data from your site, in the first 2007-th year,   the festival was visited by 4000 visitors and had 37 events in 1 city, in Budapest. In 2019-th, you had 100.000 visitors at 700 events in 418 vanues.. How was that possible for three spiritual women? To you Márta Dragonits, to Ildikó Kolek and Ilona Toroczkay, who although are three of you, you are like the same soul and founders of this festival
Marta Dragonits : I don’t think we achieved that, we gave only our five breads and our two fish. We made a great poster, which said: “Our main Sponsor is the Holy Spirit” : ) Following our call, more and more people joined us, to organize the Festival. Among others we work together with the organizers of the European Heritage Days, since most of the European cultural heritage is sacral. The European culture has grown out of Jewish -Christian faith, the roots of it’s civilization are there.

Bogorodicen Pokrov: Which year until now you had the greatest number of visitors, events and in what number of cities? What is your mission and goal that prompted you to such engagements and how do you experience the sacral art?
Marta Dragonits: We can’t accurately estimate the number of visitors this year, because at the request of Cardinal Erdő Péter Ars Sacra Foundation helped to organize the programs of the 52. International Eucharistic Congress in Budapest, so the number of visitors has greatly increased despite the pandemic.
“For Christ’s love compels us that is, what launched us, on this way. We trust that these sacral masterpieces touch the hearts of people, and with their help they get closer, or get back to God. It is our belief that the Creator had sown the seed of faith in all of us. If we feed and nurture this within ourselves and each other, it will sprout, shoot, spread leaves, bloom and yield fruit. These works of art and performances are also the flowers and fruit of faith, the sounds, colors, scents and taste of which we want to share with also the seeds can be sown again and again, to multiply and enrich our spirits!
 Bogorodicen pokrov:  This festival takes place in the month of September, when you open the doors for art to all churches at the same time, but also to all  castles, cathedrals, museums, theaters, concert halls,  universities, squares, in fact  in all worldly buildings too, where art passes  that day from all and for all! All together at the same time you celebrate the Creator with a magnificent Hallelujah, through all kinds of the art - with concerts, exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, literary readings, poetry, musical performances and theater plays,  discussions, children's programs, film screenings, in essence, all together, through art you celebrate life and love! It requires an incredible commitment to preparation and enormous effort! What is it that brings you to be able to withstand this effort, and what are the comments and feelings of the participants and fans of the festival? Why is such a festival important and necessary for them?
Marta Dragonits: Our Main Sponsor, the Holy Spirit! It gives us power, helps us to connect people, and communities. We get so many positive feedbacks, that also gives us power. The Ars Sacra Festival shows the signs of hope in culture, makes the invisible visible, brings to the surface knowledge, symbols, that have long been forgotten. These things help us getting to know ourselves, and our age better.
Bogorodicen Pokrov: Your festival is realized with a collaboration with the European Heritage Days, under the brand Europe for festivals, festivals for Europe! What does this collaboration implies, who is included in it and who can participate? Is it only about festivals or for other manifestations also, and from which countries?
Marta Dragonits: We speak about two things. In 2007, the time of the festival coincided the European Heritage Days. That time we contacted it’s organizers, because the European culture grow out of Judeo-Christian roots.
On the other hand, there is a European festival qualification system, EFFE . Ars Sacra Festival won this qualification EFFE Label in 2016, and since that time we get it.  Ars Sacra festival fulfils quality standards, and embedded in the European artistic, cultural and social reality. It has a coherent and curated artistic programme, provides opportunities for upcoming artists. Ars Sacra’s programmes foster local connections among the performers and local communities. Our programmes help to increase access to culture and attract diverse audiences, including different socio-economic backgrounds, age groups, and genders.
Ars Sacra is more and more attractive to the audience, through free of charge artistic and educational programmes, which offers eternal values.
Bogorodicen Pokrov: Ars Sacra founded its foundation a year after the first issue of the festival, more precisely in 2008th. Having into consideration its amazing achievements, what budget is needed for a realization of such festival? And which are the sources that support such festivals? Does the state support you, the Church, international foundations, European grants? It is very hard to provide budgets for such complicated and magnificent projects, especially when they are of spiritual kind. That is at least when our Balkan spaces are considered, so your experiences and knowledge are welcome!
Marta Dragonits: The festival began with a lot of volunteer work. The Holy Spirit led many people to this work. We began to organize the festival in my interior design office, and so since that time. A members of the boards of trustees work as volunteers the whole year, we use our own telephones, and autos. We write a lot of grants, last year for example 23. The festival depends on the effectiveness of the support. We receive some support from Cardinal Erdő. Fortunately we don’t have to achieve concrete results.
Bogorodicen Pokrov: Are there other foundations similar to yours, which support such projects in Hungary or in the other European countries?
Marta Dragonits : Well, may be, that there are, but I do not know about it.
Bogorodicen Pokrov: Since 2016th, the Film Festival has also been a part of the program of the Ars Sacra Festival. Which film genres you prefer and which messages are carried by the awarded films until now? We are talking about a national festival that nurtures own production in this sense, and all of the films until now are in Hungarian, as far as I could notice!
Marta Dragonits: We receive  movies from some neighbor countries too, but because these  movies are also in Hungarian, it is a Hungarian film festival. In the Ars Sacra film festival there are only short documentary films, dealing with the important questions of life, the faith and the hope. This year 100 movies were entered for presentation, and 55 of those were presented.
Bogorodicen Pokrov : An Appeal for an International Media day of peace, which more than a decade and a half, in capacity of a former member of the International Council of the TV Academy of Arts and Science – Emmy Awards, I proposed to all of the world TV magnates, was supported with an acclamation. The idea is to declare at least one day of the year for a media day of peace by UN, when the TVs and the media would not show any films and programs with scenes of brutality, violence, pornography, hatred and any other sinful contents, so as to remind the humanity to its natural state of peace in its soul. By the way, even then, in the USA there were 30.000 murders per day at TV… That, I deem, would be the biggest antiterrorist campaign in our hearts, because the peace in us brings peace with our neighbor, and a peace with everyone brings a peace in the community and in the world. We all should work on the peace, but not only with words and platitudes, but with annulment of everything that brings a restlessness, in which lead the electronic media. Would you join us to push together this initiative at international level, and to call each of those who would like to support it?
Marta Dragonits: This is a very nice initiative! I would like to sign this appeal. On the other hand, I don’t know, one day without disturbing media appearance, what results could achieve, but it’s certainly enough to draw attention to this problem. I’m optimist. St Teresa of Lisieux said: “My Lord, save me from that temptation, that I think everything must be in order.”
Bogorodicen Pokrov: In that direction is also this year’s International Call of our festival, titled How I Learned What Love Is!  We invite everyone who wants, to write a true story of their life with events and happenings on a spiritual or human topic, on about 2 to 3 pages. We plan to publish a joint book in the future and grant the book to every author and partner of the festival. So, all together we can pass to the younger generations the memories of the true values in life and to be able to recognize the true love! We invite you to write a story and also to share this call on Ars Sacra   profiles.
Marta Dragonits: We look forward sharing this call on our pages and ask our friends and relatives. My father who is 97 years old, and is in very good condition, just wrote a short poem about life, and the end of it stands, that the only sense of life is love.
Bogorodicen Pokrov:  Before we circle this conversation, also on this occasion, I want to express a gratitude for my participation as a regional representative and panel discussant at the World Christian Forum in Budapest in 2019th, which was an extraordinary event in every sense. Hundreds of participants took place on it, among which a few archbishops, but the most of them were secular, spiritual people, top scientists, ambassadors, professors, surgeons, journalists, directors. In one word, of every profession from Far East to Russia, from Africa, America and Europe. An imposing number of superb authorities. However, for such events, the media rarely, or even do not at all inform the citizens. And I think that for a long time in the history, we have not seen a high Government representative to speak with a Cross in his hands at the opening ceremony of the Forum, which was organized by the government of  Hungary. As a Hungarian, how did You and Your citizens experience this event?
Marta Dragonits: Yes, there was a forum for Christian Communicators in Budapest. It was about the power of the media, that we may have doubts in it’s world, and how easy to get lost in it. The endangered situation, and rapid decline of the Christian population in the Middle East, and as a result of which the fate of persecuted Christians has been on the agenda in several cases and humanitarian aid processes have begun. Hungary is one of the countries which have repeatedly drawn the European Union’s attention to the aggression enacted against the Copts in Egypt on 1st January 2011. And here I would like to quote from the Hungarian Constitution’s preamble:
“We are proud that our king Saint Stephen built the Hungarian State on solid ground and made our country a part of Christian Europe one thousand years ago … We recognize the role of Christianity in preserving nationhood. We value the various religious traditions of our country.”
This year we have organised art programs in some towns in Europe, where Hungarian communities are located, in memory of the famous Hungarian poet and thinker Pilinszky János. He wrote in the 1970s, that in an age, when we have serious doubts about communications, art, with its impersonality, is able to communicate and convey the Christian message of the Beauty, the Truth, and the Good.
Bogorodicen Pokrov: We are near the end of your story. And, finally, how did the whole of the story actually start? You are an architect, you graduated at two faculties, architecture and art and design. You managed to grow out not only festivals, but also three children and eight grandchild. Besides many worldly, you have projected also 50 sacral objects, and the most famous is the praying chapel of Matthias Church in Budapest. You also have many other award winning projects, for example the Hungarian chapel in the Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception Washington DC. How did you start the city project named City Mission in Budapest, which grew out in a European-framed manifestation?
Marta Dragonits: I didn’t want to participate in City Mission:) The joy in my heart, made me create something beautiful, one can join. So, with my friend Ilona Toroczkay, and Ildikó Kolek we wisited the directors of the great Hungarian museums in Budapest, to ask them to arrange small exhibitions of their sacral treasury. We found partners they presented the most beautiful treasures of European cultural heritage. Thorough our friendly relationships, we organised music programmes in addition to the exhibitions and finally we joined to the City Mission with 34 progammes. Based on many positive feedbacks,  we will established a foundation next year, so we could continue the work. Since that many has joined us, and the Ars Sacra has grown into a cross-border festival.
Bogorodicen Pokrov: What does Ars Sacra means for you today?  You started with the idea that you have been summoned to save the world. After all of these years of spiritual perfection, what do you think today, after 15 years of Ars Sacra?
Marta Dragonits: Well, when I was young, I thought that I could save the world with my work. I realized over the years, that the world has been saved already, so my task is only to tell the people about it. We have been working work as volunteers for 15 years for Ars Sacra Festivals and let’s face the facts, that we have received much more from Ars Sacra, then we have ever imagined.
Bogorodicen Pokrov: Thank you for this interview! You showed what three sublime spiritual women can do for their people and for the Christian values, and that the true Love overrides all the boundaries!!! Be many more years an example how to spread the acts of Love through the art and how to elevate the soul the closer to the sky! Amen.
